Seeq Team Patrick Posted July 19 Seeq Team Share Posted July 19 (edited) How do I access or move items between Workbooks? Edited July 19 by Patrick
Seeq Team Solution Patrick Posted July 19 Author Seeq Team Solution Share Posted July 19 (edited) Items in Seeq, including signals and conditions, are managed by scoping. By default, any new signal or condition created in a Workbench will be scoped locally and therefore not available in other Workbenches. For more information on scoping, please see the following Knowledge Base article: https://support.seeq.com/kb/latest/cloud/understanding-scoping-and-permissions If you want to make an item available in another Workbench, there are two options: Add the desired items to a Worksheet and Duplicate it to another Workbench. In the Worksheet Pane, click on the "down" chevron and select "Duplicate". In "Duplicate the worksheet into" select "Another Worksheet". This will create identical, NEW items in the destination Workbench. If you modify the item in the source Workbench, it will not impact the item in the destination Workbench. And vice-versa. They are completely separate items. The item will not be available in any other Workbenches (i.e., it'll be only scoped locally to the associated Workbench). Change the item's scope to "Global'' by selecting the Item Properties, clicking "Change" under "Scope", and updating the scope of the item to "Global" "Global" items are accessible across all Workbenches and will show up in searches for users who have access to your Workbench at the time the scope is changed from "Local" to "Global" If you only want specific users to see the Global item, you can manage more granular permissions via the item properties Access Control Learn more about Item Properties here: https://support.seeq.com/kb/latest/cloud/item-properties Edited July 19 by Patrick
