benjamin Posted November 24 Posted November 24 Hi All, Very new to SEEQ, we are currently moving to a new HMI and one thing I use very frequently is not being carried over. So, I have learnt to use SEEQ! A little tiny bit! Managed to have make an Organizer Topic with all the needed trends, which are working well (there are around 15, 1 minute updates), I am wondering if somehow I can represent a piece of equipment in this case a pump, to be running or not. I have a tag from the PLC that is either on or off for the equipment. I am hoping to represent it in a similar fashion to our old HMI..... Something like this - Any help is appreciated, I am also trying to run a plant in between! Thank you. Ben
Seeq Team Solution John Cox Posted November 25 Seeq Team Solution Posted November 25 (edited) Hello Ben, There are lots of options for indicating equipment running in Seeq. A very common one is to use a Value Search (found under Tools in Workbench) to search the pump status tag and create a condition with capsules at the top of the screen. For example, here I created an OFF condition in red, and used a second Value Search to create a RUNNING condition in green. You would have these conditions at the top of your trends in Organizer: As another option, you can put the OFF and the RUNNING condition on the same lane as the pump status signal: Do either of these ideas help? benjamin Posted November 26 Author Posted November 26 Hey John, I think the first option may be helpful. I'll give it a go. Thanks
