Using SQLAlchemy in Datalab

I’ve been trying to set up a SQL connection within Seeq data lab and I have not been able to. We have a JVM Agent configured to access the database and I have configured several datasources that use that agent to provide data into the Seeq server. What I want to be able to do is use SQLAlchemy or some other module to create a connection to our SQL database and use that to query the database while in Data Lab, however when I try to establish a connection I get an OperationalError that it won’t connect to the server.
