Adding variables who's values rarely change

I have multiple signals for pump speeds.  These speeds can remain constant for weeks at a time.  I'm trying to add them together, but because the value doesn't change it states that there is no data in current range (when viewing the variable individually, it uses a dotted line).  Is there a way to use the last value when the signal changed to add it to other signals?
